JUICE IT
Hey hey hey! Summer’s finally here! I hope you guys are as much excited as I am right now to enjoy this summer break! I’m finally done with high school and I’m currently waiting for my exam results, hoping as hell to have graduated ! I mean, I worked so hard on these exams…Anyway, today I decided to share with you some of my Cali food recipes. I’ve come to realize that I didn’t talk about what I created Califorjay for, I mean, about my Cali lifestyle in France, sadly. So here are a few recipes that might get your attention!
Cali girls have a certain way to feed themselves. They have a really healthy lifestyle and workout a lot. So, in order to stay fit and look naturally beautiful, they focus on local and organic food. I guess you all heard about and saw these supposedly miraculous colored juices on Instagram pictures. Cali girls are fond of organic fruits and plants-based juices, smoothies, they only swear by it. We can trust this trend, looking at their beautiful skin, hair and well-shaped body.
In my opinion, I think these juices are really yummy, convenient when you’re on the go and really nutritious, considering all the good benefits they have. The have very few carbs and are fat free ( only natural carbs ) . What I love is that we can drink these anytime staying fit and beautiful. According to what you compose your juice of, you can get various types of juices, smoothies. Considering that I always start my day with fruits, here are my favorites versions ! I just mix the ingredients in a blender.

My Shrekkie
1 apple ( green if possible )
1 small cucumber
baby spinach
1 tsp of honey

My Stress Over cure
1 banana
1 orange
a cup of strawberries
These are the raw recipes to which I often add some extra superfood, such as:
chia seeds : omega 3, fibers, calcium, iron
spirulina : protein, iron
coconut flakes : adds a savory taste
noni extract ( I buy my noni powder from Kora ) : anti-inflammatory
granola ( in smoothies and acaï/pitaya bowls ) : adds a crunchy and yummy taste
Hope you enjoyed these few recipes, tell me in comments if you have some juice or smoothies recipes to propose me, I love trying new ones! This summer, I’ll try to post as many articles as I can. See you very soon for my next one ! xx
