Good news! Summer’s right around the corner, girls. The COVID-19 pandemic indeed leaves us uncertain about summer break, but let’s hope that the virus decreases drastically enough by then and that the government says that it’s safe enough so we can leave.

I don't know what about you, but I always get super excited when it comes to talking about summer and swimwear. As a fashion lover, I always look for the most flattering and the most hype swimsuits, from one-pieces to bikini sets. However, I've come to realize that as for jeans, the swimwear apparel has become more and more expensive as new brands create a lot of flattering pieces but tend to exaggerate with prices. I mean, I’m a student, so I try to select them on my budget.

Anyway, I’ve selected a couple of swimsuits from different brands that I either love, buy from, or that I simply wish I could have. Enjoy!

I've been loving Monday Swimwear since the brand's early years. First, I was following Tasha and Devin's IG accounts for their lifestyles, and then I found out about their brand, and I've become obssessed with their unic and flattering pieces. I mean, the shapes and the colors... It took me three years to finally place my first order at Monday Swimwear. I really love this brand I'd place it at the top of my top 10 favourite swimwear brands. Unfortunately, I think that the pieces are not really affordable for everyone. This is the only con I give the brand.

Celebrities like Elsa Hosk, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and a lot of fashionista are obssessed with this brand too. No wonder why !

I'll remeber for a long time when I bought my first Triangl swimsuits. It was probably in 2015, when the brand was just launched. It was one of the first pieces and everyone was obssessed with the brand. Today, I still love it, and I can't wait to receive my new package I've just ordered!

Do you like glitters? Good for you, Oseree Swimwear is (almost) all about glittery swimwsuits. You've probably heard about this brand, or seen it on fashion people like Valentina Ferragni, Rocky Barns, or Chloe Lloyd. These flattering pieces look super hot !

Now let's talk about sustainability.Originally born as Hunza in 1984 under the direction of Peter Meadows, the label enjoyed huge success with its signature, unique crinkle-stretch fabric.

Just like Oseree and Monday Swimwear, Hunza G attracts people, such as Kate Bosworth, Lily Aldridge and other famous fashionisas. The Hunza dress became an iconic 80s piece, with Julia Roberts wearing it in Pretty Woman. 30 years on, creative director Georgiana Huddart has collaborated with Peter to re-launch the brand as Hunza G.

Blondie Lemonade is a french swimwear brand founded by blogger and content creator Manon Lemaure, aka ManonLaime. Manon created her brand with pretty much the same concept and goals as Tasha Oakley and Devin Brugman. She wanted women to feel empowered and confident in a swimsuit. That's what led her to create her own sustainable brand with comfortable fabrics and flattering designs for every women and shapes.

I had a crush on this brand because as I said, I find the designs flattering as they are very chic and simple, and also because they are affordable. You won't have to break your money for a single bikini set nor a one-piece swimsuit. If you like chic and fashionable swimwear and you don't want to pay extras for a bikiki, then go for Blondie Lemonade. You won't regret it. I personally own the champagne one-piece swimsuit and I love it. It's confortable and it looks good on!
